Syntec controllers transfer G-code files using a shared Windows folder over the network. To ensure proper file transfer, it’s important to share the correct folder name based on the controller’s configuration.

🧭 Folder Names Vary by System Version

Depending on the age or version of the machine, the expected shared folder name will differ:

• Older Systems: use a folder named Data

• Newer or Upgraded Systems: use a folder named NCfile

Using the wrong folder name will prevent the Syntec controller from accessing G-code files.
