Purpose: Trim all four sides of the phenolic table to the final dimensions and cut the pop‑up profile hole through the table.

Instructions:

1. Prepare the 12 mm endmill: Use the 12 mm endmill (P/N 41313029). Measure its height offset by lowering the tool until the bottom of the endmill aligns flush with the bottom of the phenolic table. Record the machine Z value and input it into both Offset 11 and Offset 12.

2. Front side trimming (Program O0045):

- In MDI mode, turn on the spindle at 10 000 RPM clockwise (command M13 S10000).

- Switch to MPG mode and move the tool near the front edge. Lower Z axis to the offset position so the endmill is level with the bottom of the table.

- Using 0.1 mm increments, slowly jog the Y axis until the cutter just touches the table edge.

- Note the Y coordinate on the machine display and insert this value into line N100 of program O0045 (Y input). Example: N100 Y‑6.23 X7706.

- Raise Z 100 mm above the table and run program O0045 in AUTO mode. The machine will trim the front side and pause at the corner. If the side is not fully trimmed, press Cycle Start again; each cycle will remove an additional ~0.2 mm.

3. Remaining sides:

- Repeat the same procedure for each side using the appropriate program:

- O0046 – Back side

- O0047 – Left side

- O0048 – Right side

- Record the final coordinates for each side for reference (e.g., front Y ‑6.23, back Y 1606.12, left X ‑6.13, right X 3106.24).

- If the finished coordinates differ from nominal by more than 0.25 mm, adjust the home position using grid‑shift parameter #1850.

Decision point: After trimming each side, inspect the edge. If any material remains or the edge is uneven, rerun the side‑trimming program until the side is flush. Otherwise, proceed to rough skimming.
