Basic PC settings for communication to Syntec 10MF Control:

Name: The PC name must be set inside the Network Settings of the control so that Syntec is looking for the specified directory on the correct PC.

IP Address: The IP address of the network interface card (NIC) used for connecting to the Syntec control must follow the subnet of the IP address specified for the control.
Work with the IT professionals onsite to ensure there are no IP conflicts when determining IP addresses.
Shared Folder: There must be a shared folder created at the following address:
C:/NETWORK/CNC/Ncfile
The shared folder name must be the same as the Dir Name on the Network Setting menu of the Syntec control. See picture "AGMVP/Shared Folder". The shared folder path is shown in the green box.

Software Setting – AGMVP:

NC folder: The NC folder setting in AGMVP also needs to be set the same as the Dir Name on the Network Setting menu of the Syntec control.
The NC folder name must be the same as the "Dir Name" setting on the Network Setting menu of the Syntec control. See picture "AGMVP/Shared Folder". The NC folder path is shown in the green box.
