Purpose & Scope

Purpose: This procedure defines the safe use of the Y and V tables on the Exxact Pro TC2 VHS machine. It covers independent and synchronized table modes, vacuum clamp and unclamp commands, and the required table position before vacuum release to prevent binding, damage, or alarms.

Scope: Applies to all operators, setup technicians, programmers and maintenance personnel whenever they use the Y table, V table, synchronized Y/V table or any vacuum clamp or unclamp M-codes. It does not replace OEM maintenance, lockout/tagout or site specific programming approval.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Operator: Follow this guide, verify the correct table mode before cycle start, use the correct vacuum release command, and stop the process if table motion or vacuum state is unclear.

- Setup technician: Confirm workholding, spoil board length, vacuum zones, program mode commands, and safe unload sequence before releasing the job to production.

- Programmer: Place the correct M codes in the program and clearly identify whether the job uses independent or synchronized operation.

- Maintenance: Maintain and verify PMC parameters, vacuum interlocks, alarms and any machine specific macro mappings. Parameter changes are maintenance‑controlled activities.
