A spindle should be tested for several conditions.
a. Bent or Broken tool fingers (dangerous safety condition)
b. Bearings are damaged (dangerous safety condition)
c. Tension washers are cracked. (dangerous safety condition)
d. Knockout Test (You may not be able to get tool out of spindle)
