If cleaning your spindle and tool holder does not work, and loading the tool by hand does not resolve the alarm, as well ass trying to realign your Tool Changer you may have a bad sensor or it may need adjusting.

Verify and check the status of the input value. X0007.7

If the input is changing to a 1 when the tool is in the spindle, then the sensor is working. If it is just flashing 1 then it goes back to 0, then it will need adjustment.

Additionally, verify that you are getting the correct voltage to the sensor. You should have a supply voltage of 24 volts. This will come from the #3 wire going to the sensor.
