Solenoid Valve Replacement

Solenoid valves are automatic valves, normally used to control pneumatics or hydraulics. An electromagnetic pilot or "actuator" is used to open and close the valve with an electrical signal or "input". The valve body has a manual pilot button to actuate the valve manually. The majority of the valves used on Anderson machinery will be a momentary action with only one pilot. There are some cases where the valve must fail or latch in the current state in case of power failure, etc. These valves will have two pilots, one at either end of the valve body. The pneumatic circuit diagram provided with the machine depicts each valve type and provides the corresponding part numbers.
