Overview
*The PC connected to the CNC is only there as a user interface (UI) and an accessory to the machine and operator. None of the critical operational information is contained on the PC with the exception of the UI application itself. All offsets, tool lengths, etc. are stored in the Fanuc NC control.
When replacing an existing PC there are both software and hardware that will need to be transferred from the existing PC to the new PC.
Before we start we will need to make a copy of the AGMVP software folder as this is the UI (user interface). Any other important files like machine backup files, etc. will also need to be backed up to transfer to the new PC.
